Brunei students at International Youth Development Summit

Three lower six students from Sayyidina 'Othman Secondary School are representing Brunei Darussalam in the Malay College Kuala Kangsar International Youth Development Summit 2010 set to run until July 1 in Malaysia.

Accompanying the students - Ak Muhammad Faiz bin Pg Zamanulalam Omarali Muhamad, Nurul Fa'iqah Abdul Kani and Nurul Azzizat Haj Abdul Aziz - is supervising teacher Hajah Junainah Haji Abdul Rahman.

Bidding farewell to the Brunei delegation were Alikhan Tengah, an officer from the International Affairs and Public Relations Unit of Ministry of Education, as well as Hajah Ainah and Cikgu Norlinah, officers from the International Unit of Department of Schools.

The theme of the summit is 'Preserving Heritage, Promoting Progress,' where each participant will promote his own country.

Organised by the Malay College Kuala Kangsar for the third time, the event sees the participation of delegates from the world over.
